Van Miller to be inducted to the Wall of Fame this Sunday

There will be a half-time ceremony this week vs. the Vikings to put Van Miller up on the Wall of Fame.

    I love that guy.

"I was an integral part in the drafting process of EJ Manuel," Whaley said Thursday on NFL Network's Total Access. "I was the person that handled the draft process and setting up the board."

"We are committed. I want you to believe me when I say that," Whaley said of building around the second-year quarterback, per The Buffalo News. "I always tell you guys that I'll never say never because I don't want to paint myself in a corner, but when I do say something, I do it and I mean it and I try to fulfill it."

"We believe the addition of Sammy is going to be instant impact, not only to our quarterback, but to what our offensive coordinator can come up with game-plan wise and how defenses attack us," Whaley said.

Whaley on EJ Manuel: "We think we got a gem in this guy." (2:30)

"And as Mark says, if in three years maybe he's not [our quarterback of the future], then I'll be sitting there saying 'hey guys', .... anybody got a job for me?" - Doug Whaley

They're going to need something soon to get fans to go to games.

Green Bay is pretty much sold out too. So is KC.

Only the Jets and Cleveland have any real tickets left.

I loved Van Miller, but how does the all time Bills interception leader and All Time All AFL team member still not have his name up there?

              George "Butch" Byrd.

Heh, I remember this too, but he was calming to listen to. Pergament from the News used to savage the team of Van, Stan and Fan. Always agreed, but it was fun to listen to them anyway.

The longer the game went, the drunker Van got.

Why should he be different from 90% of the fans? He was trying to make you feel like you were actually at the game.

I always thought of Van as the Voice of the Buffalo Bills, so it's ironic that arguably the most historic moment in Bills' History was announced by Rick Azar.
