Keep him. He deserves to stay in Buffalo for the rest of his playing days.

We have enough rebuilding on the line to do without getting rid of him

He's only our best Run Blocker, as well as Pass Blocker, and our most experienced lineman.

Well I agree, but I think Ruben made his self clear that he doesnt want to play here anymore.

But I think he will be a BILL next year!!!!!

..besides...cap wise, it would be stupid to trade/cut him IMO.

I don't think that was the case at all. He got caught in a GW/KG trying to assert their dying authority thing at the end of last season. I hope he comes back healthy (he was hurt most of last year) and ready to play.

Ruben provides much needed stability and veteran leadership.

He won't be leaving any time soon, not with the instability on the OL now and with nobody ready to step in to replace him. I think if we get a stud to play on the right side (hopefully we draft one of the top guards like Carey, Snee, Smiley, or Peterman) and sign a free agent at center like Bober or Flynn, we'll see a MUCH better line next year.

"I would like the opportunity to come back next year and dispel the rumours that Ruben's washed up," Brown said. "I'm not a quitter and I did not quit. I would never leave my players hanging.

"Maybe, if anything, I need to change about my game I might not be as vocal. I love this team and I have every confidence that Tom is going to be open-minded deciding whether I'm going to be here or not."

He's been with the team longer than any player. I'd like to see him get excited again and I can only see that happening here.
BTW, nice sig, cas.
