Now right now we are set with Drew "Throw All Day" Bledsoe but whatwe need to do is try and develop a backup of some sorts and that has to come from this next years draft, now College football is at te halfway point or a little past so here is my top 5 QB's: SENIORS ONLY!

1. Leftwich
2. Ragone
3. Wallace
4. Dorsey
5. Palmer

Personally I love Wallace and think he should win the Heisman.

I think we've got alot more important things to worry about now, like the fins

Or the defense!

Next years draft needs to concentrate on defensive speed and depth and maybe even more depth on the OL. It also depends upon the FA status of Price and if Riemersma stays....I think he'll be back with redone deal :)

It seems like you have a problem with "throw it all" Bledsoe.

next years draft is so deep at LBer... i just cant see the bills justifying not going with one.

how's it lookin at DL ?

Unfortunately... last year was a great D year... this year there is little depth in the D draft (unless some juniors declare)... the DTs this year are small (270-300), and while there are some good ones in general there isn't the depth we saw last year. The DEs are fairly weak too... although there is a little more depth than at DT. Because there is such week depth at DL, expect an early run on them, as teams fill their DL needs with sub par talent. Don't get me wrong... there are good DTs in this draft; it’s just that they will be long off the board by the time our mid-late 2nd round pick comes up.

This crop of LBers are generally all very fast and quick, with a lot of pass rushing specialist.

Thus the FA focus on DL :)

Can ya tell me something about DB Willie Pile from Va Tech?

Strengths/weaknesses/early draft projection?

I think Winfield_26 is right. This is going to be one of the deepest QB drafts in history. We could pick up a really good one in the 3rd round. Remember, quality QB's make great trade bait, so even if Bledsoe still has six years left in him, we could trade the QB down the line ala Trent Green or RJ.

We don't have the luxury of drafting any of those QB's.

Maybe TD will see a 6th round sleeper.

It would be pointless, because most of these guys are going to want to start in a year or two. Bledsoe is only thirty. We only need a solid back up, which we have.

Drewpac, goodpoint about the trade thing but, it shouldn't be a reason to draft a QB, especially considering the sad state of affairs that is our D

They will take best available on the board, like last year. the d will have to be helped through FA if we want to be a contender next year.

Nonsense- Drew is what, 30 years old? He can last another 7-10 years if he stays healthy. The last thing we need is to worry about grooming a "QB of the future" when our QB of the future is here! Drew!

Number 1 I have no problem with "Throw all day". I actually love the gameplan my only worry is that if he can keep his consitency up for the next 2-3 years. We need a good backup and if you ask me preferably a scrambler. 3rd-6th round prospects I would like to get:

1. Wallace
2. Thomas
3. McCown
4. Guy from Minnesotta (Tariq??????)

I don't have a problem w/ a QB in the 4th round or lower if he's the best guy available, regardless of position. If there are guys available who are capable of filling needs, then the Bills should not pick a QB when we have a guy who's hopefully going to be here as the starter for the next decade.

Besides, we can always get a journeyman QB with a lower salary to be a backup- AVP and Travis Brown are fine backups who should know their place in the pecking order w/ Bledsoe here.

i am a Vtech grad.. so i can tell you a thing or two about him.. he has made some great plays and improved every year.. but he disappears at times.. which could be a product of having such a good defense and good players

it is always tough to predict, but i think he will be a solid nfl contributor, but by no means a superstar... tech runs a solid defense though.. like taking a WR from a florida pro offense

the last thing we need is to draft a QB.we need DL help.

The next QB the Bills need to draft is probably in High School right now. No need to draft a young QB for 3-4 more years. Drew is good for at least 5 more.

I personally would start looking at quarterbacks in not more then 3 years if I was a member of the Bills' Front Office.

I say we trade away draft picks for money/ solid veterans for the Dline - a compliment for Pat Williams, and a Bookend DE, and at least 1 guy for the LB corps.

I hear Junior Seau is a UFA at the end of this year, is this true?

If he is, he might be worth taking a look at if he can show that he can stay healthy.

no way that SD lets Seau go, he is the essence of a franchise player.

Takeo Spikes(sp?) is a UFA this year, and i would bet top dollar he, like everybody with a brain is trying to get out of cincy.

Clump...
Tatonka is right about him... he has struggled with consistency throughout his career... and is just as liable to make a big play as he is to make a mental mistake and let a guy get behind him, right now he is hovering around a 3rd-5th rounder. However that being said, safety is one of the strongest positions in the draft this year... and there should be plenty of quality available deep into the 3rd round. In fact if the stars align right… it wouldn’t be too surprising for the Bills to take a top 4 FS with their second round pick

Drew solid for 5 more years? I highly doubt that considering the week in and week out a$$ kicking he gets everygame. AVP is not capable as a backup as he in the past two seasons he has come to camp more and more overweight and Travis Brown had one game last year in which he didnt do anything wrong or right. This year is the deepest QB draft, even deeper than the 99 draft with McNabb, and others. We need to get a guy now this year to develop, you know TD aint gonna wanna stick with Drew's amazing 10 year career contract, and all its gonna take is one hit and where up sh@*'s creek.

Spikes is almost certainly going to get the franchise or transitional tag from the bungholes according to the Cincy sportswriters.
