Panthers running back Lamar Smith's Thanksgiving DWI charge will end his season with the team.

Panthers general manager Marty Hurney told SportsLine.com that Smith will be getting a "paid leave of absence for the remainder of the season."

Considering he can't seem to learn.. they ought to not pay him. He should go flip burgers or something.

Cntry...that's the way of the world. A lot of the dumb :angry:s who get DUIs never learn...they lose their liscences, but continue to drive.:rolleyes:
