I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
If someone throws gatorade on him would he drowned?
Where are they ranked compared to other red Xs?
Is he a high character, high motor guy?
You think you're hot **** in a champagne glass, but you're really cold diarrhea in a Dixie cup!
We had a kid at my HS who has no arms or legs and played football and was an all county wrestler. These kids who manage to play this game despite their limitations are truly incredible stories.
COMING SOON...

ugh...im going to hell
This thread is just wrong in so many ways.
I can't believe some people have the nerve to make fun of handicap people. I feel embarrassed to be part of this board right now.
That's great that he still does things like play football. That guy has some serious heart.
I bet he can still catch better than any of the Falcons receivers.
he's just as good as any cowboy kicker

I'm sorry but those pics of the poor guy flopping around on the football field are funny. Not because the guy has no legs but what the hell is he doing out there? I mean, It's great that the guy has the balls to go out there and possibly be rediculed the entire game, but seriously, what the hell does he do to help his team win? It's not like he is very mobile and is going to be tackling anyone. He can't kick, he can't chase down a RB, he can't scramble as a QB and I am sure he can't run too many fly patterns!
