    Rumor: Bills Will Trade Up

    http://www.cleveland.com/browns/plai...0223130780.xml

The Bills (No. 23) might be inclined to trade up with the Browns to snatch one of the last defensive linemen in the first round. The Browns might only net a fifth-round choice by dropping two notches, but they could rationalize the value of taking a cornerback at No. 23.
This, IMO, would be a very good move. We would only lose a fifth round pick and we would jump the Jets seem to have simliar needs to ours. This sounds like just speculation but it seems very reasonable. I would not mind if this happened tomorrow morning.

That is a ridiculous trade, I don't think the Jets would take anyone we value. It's the Broncos, Cheifs, and Pats we have to worry about.

Schoebel, reports are they are looking to draft DT, WR, OL, and S. All those seem to be positions that we would be eyeing too. Why do you think it is so ridiculous?

Trading up 2 spots wont net us anything we couldn't get at 23. What DT will be left at 21 anyway? Maybe Ty Warren? I wouldnt take him at 23 anyway!

I was never a good speller. Well, thats the last time I look towards Schobel to get the correct spelling.

    Well, since he changed it...

Schobel what do you mean it won't get us anything? If we jump up 2 spots that's 2 more players that will be available to us. Go Bills!

The Jets very well could take a DL with their second pick. Rumor is they're looking at a wr and a de with their first two picks. If moving up 2 spots insured us a top DE, I'm all for it.

If thats the logic were gonna use, then why dont we jump in front of Denver? And New England, and everybody else!?! I dont think NYJ are gonna take a DE, thats the only area that they're actually decent at. They need LB's, WR's, and DB's bad.

Thats some of the dumbest logic I have heard. It would take practically all our picks to move up past those guys. Moving up 2 spots will only cost us a fifth round pick. A fifth round pick for the chance to pick a solid DL and screw your division rival. I think its worth it.

As for them needing LB's, WR's and DB's... that is not what all the reports out there are saying. CT is right almost everything out there has them taking WR/DL in the first round.

It makes sense if the right guy there. If TD really wants a certain DL, I have no problem giving up a 5th rounder to get him, especially if it means the jets wont

I haven't seen one report or one mock draft that has New York taking a DE. A DT, an LB, a WR, yes, but not a DE.

IF TRUE: TD will wait to see who is available at #21 and then weigh on what the Jets did at #13. If they drafted DL, then TD isn't likely to move up. If the Jets draft a different position, then TD could very well move up to insure drafting someone like Haynes

I think Eb has it right. I don't think Buffalo would want to pay the cost of a significant move up, but if the Browns are on the board, a defensive lineman that TD likes is still on the board, and TD has a suspicion that the Jets like him too, he could pull the trigger. I don't see him making any other trade up.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

Now it all depends on what the Bears want at 22.
