Trent Edwards or Donovan McNabb in 2009?

I'm just curious as to the sentiment of most of my fellow Bills fans right now. Should we continue to let Edwards develop next year or should we cast him aside after 2 seasons like we've done in recent years with other QBs in favor of going after someone else. The first name that came to me is another QB making headlines in Donovan McNabb who seems to be disfavored in Philly and due to be an UFA in 2009. or do you have someone else in mind if so post your opinion here.

I'd rather bring in another veteran to compete (McNabb would want to start outright). Edwards' play this season, if it doesnt improve, doesnt warrant him being the outright starter next season.

    Here's my plan:
Draft a QB in day1 if Trent continues to suck balls.

Find a guy like Warner (easier said than done... I know) to compete with Trent next year. Because if Trent doesnt win the competition, we let the vet. QB take the reigns for 2 years, develop the new guy, and show TE the door.
