Damian Williams, WR, University of Southern California
From WalterFootball.com:
Damian Williams*, USC
Height: 6-1. Weight: 190.
Projected 40 Time: 4.45.
Projected Round (2010): Top 20 Pick.
2/7/09: Debacled Penn State in the Rose Bowl Presented by Kraft, catching 10 passes for 162 yards and a touchdown. Williams finished the season with 58 receptions, 869 yards and four scores.
7/26/08: Had to sit out the 2007 campaign because he transferred from Arkansas to USC. As a sophomore in 2006, Williams put up poor numbers (19 receptions), but played in a very limited passing attack. He should be able to thrive at USC, assuming he gets enough targets.
Comments:
10/16/09- Smaller type WR, shifty. Reminds me of Keary Colbert... that type of build. But hes much better. Has good hands. The team that drafts him will want him to be a homerun threat.. he may not play fast enough for that. And he wont be a possession type, he doesnt have the strength to fight for the ball. His hands are good but he isn't big enough to be a possession type or fast enough to be a home run hitter. Returns punts as well.
