Jeremy Jarmon to Enter NFL supplemental Draft

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4240533

He looks like a pretty good prospect. Had 9.0 sacks in 2007 and 4.5 in 2008. 6'3 277 too which should make him pretty stout.

The Eagles are interested in him which means we should be too. They have a knack for finding DEs.

Derrick Burgess, Trent Cole, Juqua Parker etc.

I concur, with him, we have our future LDE and then we could put Maybin at RDE.

Burgess didn't do much as an Eagle. Nonetheless, they do have a knack for finding talent that fits their system.

Depending on the substance Jarmon tested positive for, I wouldn't mind the Bills giving up a 6th/7th round pick for him.

    Here's more:

Possible first entrant in NFL supplemental draft

Kentucky senior defensive end Jeremy Jarmon has been kicked off the team after testing positive for a banned substance. Jarmon's error seemed like an honest mistake.

However, now that his college football career is over, it is highly likely Jarmon will be in the supplemental draft, held sometime late in the summer. Since 1977, just 38 players have been selected.

No players were selected in last year's draft. In 2007, the Chargers used a fourth-round pick on Georgia cornerback Paul Oliver. Baltimore used a fifth-round pick on Maryland offensive tackle Jared Gaither. The selection of Gaither was an excellent one as he could be the Ravens' starting left tackle this year. Find every supplemental pick here.

Jarmon should have somewhere between a fifth- and seventh-round grade. He's 6-foot-3, 280 pounds. In 2007, he was a first-team all-conference performer finishing with 62 tackles, including 13.5 tackles for loss and nine sacks. Last season he had 38 tackles, including 10 for loss and 4.5 sacks.

Right now, I had Jarmon as my 15th best defensive end (rankings coming soon). If you take out 3-4 outside linebacker tweeners, I have Jarmon as the 10th best defensive end.

Learn more about the NFL supplemental draft here.

Check out this video of Jarmon. While it's against lowly Kent State, his burst is impressive:

Have the Bills ever picked someone out the supplemental draft?

    Just curious.

I would be happy if we knabbed him, but very suprised if we did.

A couple of studs. I think we should plunge in again.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Re: Jeremy Jarmon to Enter NFL supplemental Draft

if we could get him for a 3rd or 4th rounder in the supplemental draft he would be a steal, as there is not alot of great pass rushers coming out next year. boy would i love for us to draft george selvie next draft! DE from usf and played high school ball in pensacola and i have seen many of his high school games. the guy is a freak!!!
