got a twitter from my friend that works at AL Ross Sports Screening in West Seneca,
The Sabres will unveil the new roadie jersey at the Draft Party that will be held at the HSBC Arena on June 25th and will go on sale in September when the Sabres hold their first practice to the public. Also this will be the jersey that they will give their first round draft choice (23rd) overall whomever it may be! the new roadie jersey will be a white version of the current alternates.

It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

I hated the pooh bear... the 90's bear and the current one are way better.
eh not really- this is really a switch back to the old white shield logo sweaters.
If the Slug didn't suck we wouldn't be switching again.
It's more of a modification than a change.
Besides, the Bruins have had like 6 different jerseys throughout their history anyways.
This is what I envision them to look like. Based on the original sweaters and similar to the dark version. The numbers aren't accurate as I used the template with other numbers.
I would much rather see the white jerseys be the home jerseys again.

I feel old myself because I remember a time when the home jerseys were white.
And there was a 2-line pass.
And no trapezoid.
And the creases were rectangular and the ice inside the goal was painted too.
The good ol' days. For me personally anyway.
i'm a no ties guy. i don't mind the ties for the 3rd jersey, but for a regular all the time jersey? I'm not a fan. i was born in the late 70's. i don't remember the sabres ever having ties (i know we did at the start). but that's not really a part of our history.
i like the overall simplicity of the design. i doubt the sabres management can resist the urge to screw it up though. but here's to hoping.

man they've switched so many times in the last 10 years it seems. I don't mind either way really. I wonder what the 3rd jersey will look like

That would be a great away jersey and would go perfectly with our new homes. It would help eliminate the slug completely with two really sweet jerseys. The only problem is that Larry Quinn is still running things and we all know he will find some way to **** it up!This is what I envision them to look like. They changed twice in the last 10 years...With the first one being a major fail making the 2nd one mandatory.

He was referring to the designation of dark or white to home or away changing.
Regardless, How the hell are these a major fail? I love this jersey.
