Baptiste and McDavid with the same stat line.. minus 3 and no points for both of them and Erie is done Oshawa wins the OHL Championship

Here is one example of why it was absolutely crucial for the Sabres to finish 30th... McDavid had 49 points and Dylan Strome had 22 points in the OHL playoffs... Strome is going to be a good player in the NHL but it would have been a massive kick in the nuts to end up with Strome and not McEichel

Not sure if this was posted. Hockey's future has reinhart as the top drafted prospect in the NHL

According to murray, ullmark just had surgery on both hips.

Loom at the sabres goalie prospects. Ullmark is the only one who I think has NHL potential
No idea how much people care at this point, but today during his offseason workouts, grigo posted a video of him squatting 400 pounds, free weight.
If he's not traded he should take his two way contract and accept earn it next year... and he has the talent to do so.
i do believe he is right there. The next step is entirely his to make.
he will either become a no one and shuffle off back to Russia... or he's going to ante up and make a name for himself in the NHL
The question is what do the Senators want for Robin Lehner? As to me he's the one goalie that makes sense as he's a big Swede that GMTM "mockingly " said he likes but does have ties to GMTM in Ottawa, is young enough to develop with the team in front of him and think end up costing the least. I mean if we could get him for Pick 51 and one of forward prospects. I want to say Bailey as think he's more hype than hope yet it probably isn't enough.

This thread fell to page 3!
Anyway here's a pretty good recap of: 2015-16 Buffalo Sabres Top 10 Prospects
It all sounds great. Particularly like this:
8. Brendan Guhle: Defense – 6’2” 185 lbsDrafted: 51st overall in the second round of the 2015 draft by the Sabres.
In a draft steeped in top defensive prospects, Guhle flew under the radar somewhat and Buffalo picked him slightly above where he was widely ranked. He is an all-around type player who should fill out his tall frame. He has great skating technique and some offensive upside. Could be a steal.

Good read during the summer snorefest
Espn has listed the top 100 prospects.
Eichel is number 2 after mcdavid.
Reinhart is number 3
Mccabe is 78
Fasching is 92

In other words, they'd better win now. Or moving those prospects will have been a failure.
