99% of the other RB's in the league would have been happy to run out of bounds between the 15 and 10...Freddie smelled 6, and the opportunity to punish somebody.

They should play the tape of that run every morning before practice and every afternoon at the end of them, and every week before a game.

He really is special. Such a great attitude on and off the field. Hands down, years from now he's the only player I'll have any emotions about from the post SB teams through to this year. Hoping he stays healthy to go out on top.

On a post game show, Rat Bastard Rodney Harrison said "somebody tackle that man." as Freddie was running on the highlights.

Sunday was not a good day for Rodney with the Pats* losing.

    In Chicago.
Lehner's history. He just doesn't know it yet.

It's funny because I've been hearing "Jackson is too old" for about three years from most fantasy football experts. Every year is "the year the tires will come off" for Freddie.

    Yet the prophecy remains unfulfilled.

F-Jax is still a stalwart in PPR formats. He's always good for a steady double digit performance.

Yes. But did she model it? And it alone? That would make it more memorable.

Shell out $140 one time, get your last name on it and never regret buying a jersey of your former scumbag player again!

Re: Freddie Jackson is the Man!

I nicknamed Fred Jackson "Heart and Soul" during his first year with the Bills.

He truly is and the epitome of a great football player.

Just brings it every game, every play.

Hmmm. Sure there are players that are scumbags, but Fred isn't one of them.

Can't really think of any Bills' player that for that matter.

Re: Freddie Jackson is the Man!

I think most players should be honored that us fans wear jerseys with their name on it.
But for Fred I feel honored that I wear a jersey with his name on it.
That is really how I feel.

Jackson's one of the most underrated Bills players of all time. Just imagine what he would have done if he had been here when he was 23 and been given an opportunity to start right away.

    I drool at the thought.

    He is the man.

It's a protection mechanism.

You shroud your childish approach in a vale of pompous, intellectual garbage in an attempt to look smart and "real". You over-analyze even minute points and manipulate statistics to fit your negative view of the team. Again, to feel good about yourself and to protect from getting hurt.

Of course, the criticisms are obviously from someone who has no understanding of the team concept or what it takes to excel at athletics.

The true "realist" understands that they have no control of what happens on the field or behind the closed doors at One Bills' Drive, so they do the prudent thing for a spectator. They enjoy the games on Sunday with family and friends, cheer for their team and realize that it's just entertainment.

"I was an integral part in the drafting process of EJ Manuel," Whaley said Thursday on NFL Network's Total Access. "I was the person that handled the draft process and setting up the board."

"We are committed. I want you to believe me when I say that," Whaley said of building around the second-year quarterback, per The Buffalo News. "I always tell you guys that I'll never say never because I don't want to paint myself in a corner, but when I do say something, I do it and I mean it and I try to fulfill it."

"We believe the addition of Sammy is going to be instant impact, not only to our quarterback, but to what our offensive coordinator can come up with game-plan wise and how defenses attack us," Whaley said.

Whaley on EJ Manuel: "We think we got a gem in this guy." (2:30)

"And as Mark says, if in three years maybe he's not [our quarterback of the future], then I'll be sitting there saying 'hey guys', .... anybody got a job for me?" - Doug Whaley
