If he's taken off of IRDR does he get thrown into the rotation this Sunday? Wouldn't make sense to take him off and then keep him inactive for the next 2 weeks.

You can call me streetkings
That's the big question since he's eligible now. I believe he's been practicing the past couple weeks, but I don't know if he's been limited at all. If the shoulders OK I'd like to see him at least get some plays in against Oakland to knock some rust off and get comfortable. It would be really nice to have him as an extra weapon against the Pats.

Will certainly be interesting to see what happens.
Would be great to see him come back to play, unannounced prior, in the NE game and run them into the ground.

Might as well.
I'm as big a critic of CJ as anybody and feel he is way over-rated, but if he's anywhere near healthy the team is at the point where one or two big plays over the next two games could make a huge difference in how the season ends up.

Activate CJ
Deactivate the Gay feller
I thought I heard that Spiller is eligible to play until Week 17.
Spiller already shys away from contact, I don't think he is going to want to test the clavicle. I believe the Bills need to get Bryce Brown more involved in this offense.
Whatever the case - CJ, Bryce, Boobie - the only way this team gets anywhere is going to be by ground and pound and eating the clock, keeping the D fresh to win games. Orton has proven he can't be better than a .500 career backup, and EJ isn't ready (if ever).

He'll return to active roster. Hasn't had full contact -- will happen this week. Doubt he'll play this week.

i think he plays on sunday.
considering orton basically can only complete 5 yard passes we better pray he plays in the screen check down game we love here in buffalo
If he's been cleared for full contact, I don't know why he wouldn't play. They desperately need whatever help they can get on offense. Maybe he doesn't resume a significant role this week, but they should be able to at least come up with a few plays for CJ. That might be asking a lot from this staff though.
His legs are fresh and his contract is up, so what do they really have to lose? If he gets through practice OK, I think he plays.

I think they just said on the local sports that he was going to be activated, but I just caught a snippet passing through.
I say keep him on the sideline as don't want him getting re-injured as I think we can beat the Raiders without Spiller. Though in Week 17 I think it's best to have as many weapons as we can against the Patriots.

I think they mean activated in terms of on the roster he still could get scratched come game day.
Spiller's fresh legs are exactly what the Bills offense needs right now. Just at the right time.
If defenses respect his ability to score on any given play, that could help open up the passing game.

We need to activate CJ so he can get stuffed for 2 yard losses up the middle.
Don't miss him...good luck on your new team.
