Tennessee Titans hosting center Stefen Wisniewski

Stefen Wisniewski, one of the best offensive linemen still available in free agency, will visit theTennessee Titans on Monday, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported.

The 26-year-old former second-round pick, who played the last three seasons in Oakland, has also visited with the Seahawks, Patriots, Jaguars, Buccaneers and Bears.

At this point, Wisniewski might be looking for the best scheme fit along with the best possible deal. He could head to Jacksonville and work with his former offensive coordinator in Oakland, Greg Olson, or he could forge a new path in New England or Tennessee.....

I can't help but believe this guy would be a great addition to the Bills for less than $5M per.

Cut Chris Williams and restructure Cassel's contract and there is the money.

    It is very doable.

I don't understand why the Bills would not at least bring him in for a visit.

They picked up the 2nd (and last) year of Cassel's MIN contract - $4,150,000 salary, $500,000 signing bonus, $100,000 roster bonus.

I can't see what there is to restructure, unless they would extend his contract...which at this point, seems unlikely.

I believe we're drafting a Center at some point draft weekend.

With them drafting - and keeping those 3 OLs in the active squad last season, I'd guess late in day 2 if they have eyes on one...or a UDFA.

Extend him one year and convert his current base salary to Signing Bonus leaving a very low base salary for this year and next.

There is also Mario's deal to move money around. Extending Dareus can free up money too.

Yup. I was trying to illustrate a way to free up money for Wis without touching Mario's contract since I assume they are saving Mario's contract to sign Dareus.

No reason both could not be done now.

The usual way now is to flash hard, real, cash money up front. The NFLPA has played the CBA like a fine fiddle - show me the money now and I'll tell you if I'm healthy enough to play. I can cry concussion, and dolts returned to office (repeatedly) like Chuckie Schumer will threaten you if you stir anything up.

I have not heard Wisniewski has signed anywhere yet.

He had surgery on a shoulder this offseason.

Either the shoulder injury or his asking price or both are stopping teams from signing him.

The Titans have a lot of cap room & we know they like to over pay for the OL.
