Traded LeCavalier and Luke Schenn to LA for a prospect and a pick, and likely ate half of Vinny's salary to make the cap hit palatable for LA.
Tank on!

Vinny is worthless

This won't hurt them much. Schenn is decent, but Lecavalier has one assist this year.
And the same number of goals that you or I have.

I wanted neuvirth back in the summer.
John Hemingway(facing certain death): I want to see Buffalo win the Super Bowl.
David Coltrane(threatening John): Nobody's going to live that long, pal.

Is Neuvirth the new shiny toy that we disguarded when it looked tarnished? He didn't distinguish himself much while here and had good stretches when he was in Washington. IMO, he probably could be a decent starter and very good backup.
How dare Philly attempt to tank this year.
Don't they know to do it properly takes multiple years?
I have no problem with it. Actually, I think it is a smart move if they have decided the Vinny and Schenn don't really fit in their long term plans, and I assume that they don't.
Now honestly, I don't think Philly is in full tank mode until they unload Giroux or however you spell it. Man, why do hockey names have to be so difficult.
A retiring forward? A 3rd pairing dman? That's tanking? Please

Both of those guys are not good at this point. Their production can easily be replaced by younger and cheaper players.
