In the wake of Milloy's release from the Pats, we are all thankful that those extra cap dollars are there as well as hopeful that this deal is as good as done. Up until now, we all wondered what the heck we were doing going into the season with $5mil+ in unspent cap dollars.
Is it possible that TD had some sort of info (or possibly just really good foresight) that Lawyer Milloy would get released by NE? Maybe Drew still keeps in touch or something along that line. I just think it's awfully coincidental that a player as good as Milloy has suddenly become available at a position of high need for the Bills, and when they have plenty of $$ to cover it. Plus, I read somewhere (sorry, I don't remember where so no link) that it is possible that the Bills might get checked out for tampering because TD was on the phone so fast, that is, before Milloy was officially cut.
Just a thought.
