There's something great about a series between two teams you loathe. And something terrible. One team loses. But one team has to win.
In the end, I wanted chaos, so I decided to hate the Leafs more. Another first round exit? Absolute chaos. I think Toronto making it past the bruins makes them more dangerous, whereas I'm not as confident the bruins have a long run in them. They may, but I think an exorcism for the Leafs is more likely to result in a long run. That said...
The bruins coughing up a 3-1 lead while Toronto is without their best player? Absolutely awesome. Now there's going to be a game 7, which the bruins may absolutely win. But now they have to battle two extra games.
Couldn't have asked for a better scenario. One team is going home tomorrow. Another is limping into the second round. If the leafs lose, chaos this off season. If the bruins lose, they bomb out after a great regular season again. Love it.
When the games are in Boston I want the Leafs to win. When the game is in Toronto I want the Bruins to win. Both teams have annoying fans.

Going with the Leafs... personally never had a problem with their fans, and they are my 2nd favorite team. Can't stand Marchand at all so picking the Leafs is easy. Going to be a helluva game...
It was going to always be the Bruins. The NHL let it go to 7 games only to appease Toronto fans. They Bruins will lose out next series, then the play-offs move along.
Game 7's are so intense. I'm enjoying this even if I don't have a team to pull for.

Late dinner here tonight it looks like... I'm with you, and especially losing in front of their douchebag fans. Hope it happens. Not sure if anyone caught it but the Leafs coach was being interviewed briefly earlier and some typical Boston fan let his kid make dumb faces in the background, right behind the glass. He thought it was great. How about a loss buddy so your kid can cry all the way home.

Me. I started following hockey the year the Panthers joined the league and I always liked John Vanbiesbrouck, so I fancied myself a Panthers fan for a minute. In reality, I was always a Sabres fan cuz I grew up in Rochester and saw all the players on their way up.
Of the trams that are left, I’m hoping for FL, and if not, I wouldn’t mind seeing McDavid get a Cup.
