This game has "danger" written all over it, though. Firstly, because Buffalo comes in a much better team this year, which is scary. Big chance for a let down.
Secondly, the Sharks aren't really as bad as their record shows. I probably know more about the Sharks than most here, since I live in CA. That's not a boast to make myself feel better, I just know that they're really not a crap team, even though they've lost 10 straight. And with Joe T added to the mix, they've gotten better at center. They've lost some great players to get him (Especially at wing with Sturm, and on defense with Stuart....where they're really horrible this year). I only hope that Buffalo doesn't come in thinking they're playing an AHL team.
Thirdly, it's my wife vs me in terms of favorite teams. Buffalo wins, I lose! SJ wins, I lose, too!
Just so you all know.. the sharks are 0-8-2 in the last 10 games...and the sabres are 8-1-1
And with the Sabres playing at home, in front of a most likely packed crowd...im gonna say 6-2 Sabres!
