Ok, let’s try this one more time since no one seems to get it.
Teams like the Chiefs were already better than us. We have to make up that talent gap.
We lost several starters, so they need to be replaced in addition to making up the talent gap that already existed.
It is not going to be possible to create enough cap space to do all of that.
Yes, there’s the draft, but every other team gets to draft, too.
It’s not that complicated.
It's a proven fact that rookie draft picks can start and win Super Bowls no.
The Chiefs are the perfect example of rookies making the difference in winning Super Bowls.
We need a good draft ..... and we need to allow the rookies the opportunity to be the difference.

YOU are not making any sense. It is FALSE that "There are at least 3 teams in the AFC alone that had better rosters than us before all the cap cuts."
What I am saying is that your statement that "I mean, Josh has been the QB for 6 years and has won 0 SB's." is dumb. Really REALLY dumb.
The same thing can be said of every QB drafted since 2018.
****, the same can be said for every QB drafted since 2013....EXCEPT for ONE. Patrick Mahomes.
It is also true that for the past six years(since Josh Allen was drafted) all but THREE QB's in the NFL "has been the QB for 6 years and has won 0 SB's." Tom Brady, Mahomes and Stafford. One of which is widely considered the GOAT and another is widely considered joining Brady as one of the GOAT's.
49ers lost because Patrick Mahomes was QB for the Chiefs and performed flawlessly when it mattered most. Brock Purdy did not.
The same reason why Buffalo lost to KC in the Div round. Patrick Mahomes was QB for the Chiefs and performed (almost) flawlessly when it mattered most. Josh Allen did not.

Not only Milano....the Bills lost three of their biggest defensive stars in Matt Milano for 12 regular season games, Tre' White for 13 and DaQuan Jones for 10.
For the KC game the Bills lost, they had Jones back but then lost starting CB Benford, starting WR2 Gabe Davis, with starting LB Bernard, starting CB Douglas starting NCB Johnson and starting P Martin hobbled by injuries.
In 2023 the Bills had the fourth-most games lost by starters to injury on defense in the NFL with 46.
While KC with the second-FEWEST games lost at only 27.
Despite all those devastating injuries, the Bills STILL won the AFCE for the FOURTH consecutive time, and the playoffs the FIFTH consecutive time....the second longest streak in the NFL of consecutive playoff appearance (KC, of course is #1 with 9) and grabbed the #2 seed in the AFC.
THAT SHOWS the Bills had as good a roster as any team in the NFL.
KC's good fortune with so few injuries to starters last year is on top of the Chiefs having had an amazing run of good health in recent years. They lost the fewest games in the NFL to injury in 2022, the third fewest in 2021 and the 10th fewest in 2020. They were tied for 13th in both 2019 and 2018.
Could that be because the Chiefs have a grass field as do two other teams in the division...while the Bills play on turf as well as two other teams in their division? Sure looks like it could be a HUGE factor.
Here are the facts....including playoff games, the breakdown of field surface played on for each team....
KC:
2023 - 16 grass - 5 turf
2022 - 16 grass - 4 turf
2021 - 17 grass - 3 turf
2020 - 16 grass - 3 turf
2019 - 17 grass - 2 turf
2018 - 16 grass - 2 turf
Buffalo:
2023 - 4 grass - 15 turf
2022 - 4 grass - 16 turf
2021 - 5 grass - 14 turf
2020 - 7 grass - 12 turf
2019 - 4 grass - 13 turf
2018 - 3 grass - 13 turf
Total the past six seasons:
KC - 98 grass - 19 turf.....83% of games played on grass
Buffalo - 27 grass - 83 turf....75% games played on turf.
The FACTS are undeniable.
Opi is going to **** on the Bills and their roster no matter what. He does so every single year. EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR.
It's a LONG way until opening day 2024 with FA just starting and the draft a month away.. The Bills WILL BE Super Bowl contenders. The core of players is as good (or better) than every other team in the NFL....led by the 2nd best QB in the NFL.
There is absolutely a talent gap and there is no way the Bills can clear enough cap to fix it. Cap hits have consequences. When they signed Miller, they gambled that we’d get a SB before this cap nightmare hit and they lost. Now we’re going to take a step back and waste a couple years of Josh’s prime fixing it.
No one would care if they got a SB, but they didn’t.
Arrgh. Every ****ing year with the draft. Guess what? The Chiefs are already better than us. They get to draft too, and you just said they’re good at winning with rookies.
I don’t know why no one acknowledges that our opponents can improve through the draft too.
And talking about needing a good draft… that’s drought era talk. We’re supposed to be competing for a SB, not hoping a bunch of rookies can come in and fix everything.
I'm looking forward to when OPIv tries to convince us all miami is better than buffalo right now lol
