My faith doesn’t make me perfect, it makes me forgiven.
He was a locker room cancer.
sucka
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
Yeah good call Tiki.
The funny part was they sent him to the game, and he had to interview all the Giants afterwards. Not only did he miss out on the ring, but he had to pretend to be happy while interviewing his ex-teammates.
Coughlin should just point at him and laugh.

That is one guy I'm really happy for. I always liked him when he coached BC.Originally Posted by Night Train

Completely agree. I always liked him. He personified the term " winner ".Originally Posted by NE39
It's hardly coincidence that every team he coaches gets good real fast. At BC, they went from bottom dweller to beating #1 Notre Dame and finishing 12th in 1993.
At Jacksonville, he won 49 games in their 1st 5 seasons the league, including 2 AFC Championship game appearances. After Wayne Weaver bailed on him and left him struggling, he was fired.
I get a kick out of the fact both Tiki Barber (retired) and Shockey (hurt and overrrated) ripped him and they contributed zilch to their SB win. Their talk means nothing.
Great game day coach and his D is always good.
He shot off his big mouth, and then engaged in premature evacuation.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

I love Tiki. I feel bad about this.
I didn't come here to fight, I hate fighting. Life is way too short to spend it on fighting! Go fight with yourself, one of you will eventually win!
He made his bed, he's gotta lie in it.
Teams win, not players.
Tiki Barber
plus he's a local guy too. He's from Watertown and went to RIT.Originally Posted by NE39
He has too much class and brains to do that. He knows that both Tiki and Shockey helped to get these players where they are today. Tiki was always a leader, and a very smart player on the field. Shockey just has a big mouth, but he always plays hard for the team and his team mates know that.Originally Posted by Night Train
Tiki is a loud mouthed idiot. Nice parting shots at Eli, btw, how he'd never lead his team to a superbowl, etc. Looks like the last laugh is with Eli, Tiki. Enjoy retirement, putz.
figures you would be singing the song Tiki was a leader. If he was a leader then I'm going to win the up comming presidential election.Originally Posted by mybills
