I agree, No CB.
Improve the pass rush and the CBs we have on the roster already would be improved.
I hate the thought of taking a CB in the first. If we can't move down, take the pass rusher and get your WR later in the first with a trade up or get him in the 2nd.

In my day we did not have self-esteem... we had self-respect, and no more of it then we earned.
I don't like any of those three players, but I agree with the part about the corner.
thats the worst thing that could happen in this draft
you are going to be greatly disappointed.Originally Posted by Bert102176

I certainly don't think we need a CB on Day1.
I am concerned though that we may go for Harvey who I don't think will be any better than Jarvis Moss.
Whilst Stroud/McCargo looks great on paper, I think Spencer Johnson will only be a good pickup in short spells and we need an upgrade over Kyle Williams especially considering the injury histories of Stroud and McCargo. This year we must stop the opposition running all over us, and allow Schobel/Kelsay/Denney and Crowell/Posluzny/Mitchell to get after the opponents QB.
i hope ur wrong
How about some DRC, Sweed (or Hardy), Rucker (or Davis, or Bennett)(TE), Schmitt, Sullivan (C) action?
10 picks, and all I need is these 5 guys. If the draft gods wanna throw in a Caulcrick (for sentimental value), and a Monk (for redzone upside), then I am all for it.
OOOOOhh, nothin' less then playoffs baby.

Sweed is O.K.
You've got to be kidding with those next 2 picks.

DRC would fit the bill and deny Mr. Moss.
The CB's on the roster now are midgets.
We need a cornerback, but not in the first. If we manage to swing an extra second, I wouldn't ***** about getting one there.

sorry, i was lost after drafting manningham in the 2nd and a fb in the 3rd...
Disrupt Brady, and that nullifies Moss. The defense's No. 1 target on a good passing offense should always be the QB.Originally Posted by njsue

Because I don't think the secondary did all that bad last year considering they had to cover someone for 7-8 seconds. Improve the pass rush.Originally Posted by njsue

I wouldn't mind a guy like Reggie Smith in the 2nd round, he is probably my favorite DB out of this year's class, other then McKelvin ofcourse.
