Zad is on a 3 games pointless streak but he still gets the No.1 position on Top 10 OHL drafted defensemen.. Coming in a number 2 is Darnell Nurse who was taken 9 spots before Zad

Sam Reinhart with another 3 point game last night.. 4 straight 3 point games and 17 points in his last 5 games Reinhart is back on my No.1 list with Sam Bennett a very close 2nd amongst forwards in the 2014 draft

A little while ago I think it was Coastal who compared to Sam Reinhart to Patrice Bergeron. Don Cherry thought Bergeron was Canada's best player today in Canada's win over Norway

Well, Coastal said Sam Reinhart reminded him of Patrice Bergeron, And Don Cherry said Patrice was team Canada's best player yesterday.

So that means Sam Reinhart is the next Patrice Bergeron.....DUH!!

Personally speaking, I want forwards considering we can't score much.

yeah, but a DMAN that some say resemble shea weber is awfully tempting.

Agreed but our current lack of scoring may set NHL lows, which show a definitive area of need. We really suck, I mean hard to watch suck.

I'm with you, drafting another defense men would be a big mistake when you look at this teams lack of talent at the forward position.

not arguing with you there. overall, im leaning towards reinhart. a skilled, scoring center who excels in his own zone? thats a beautiful piece to have.

but, so is a shea weber type too.

    id be happy with either.

    grigo with a hatty.

he has 9 goals, 8 assists in 12 games. last time we checked on him, he had 4 and 4 in 6. so he has 5 and 4 in his last 6.

Zad had 2 assists last night.. Zad has 7 points in his last 3 games..

Yesterday on WGR Paul Hamilton had a couple of observatons

"I am fairly certain the Sabres hit on Ristolainen and Zadorov" " I cant completely give up yet on Grigorenko because he is only 19"

" After the 2012 1st round draft was completed I had several scouts and hockey people tell me not to be at all surprised when Girgensons turns out be a better NHL player than Grigorenko"

the thing about grigo is, yes, hes only 19. he may put it together and take some time to develop. some players do that.

im just bringing him up to compare for times sake. but vinny prospal spent 5 years in the minors before becoming a very productive player. grigo will be on rochester next year. i have hope he will be fine.

Grigs best chance at being a productive NHL player is to fill out a bit and play wing on a line centered by Sam Reinhart or Connor McDavid

coastal and i liked the idea of GRIGO on the RW.

armia has 8 points in his last 14 games. not setting the world on fire, but his PPG is improving.

Girgs played fairly well going up against the Crosby line.. The Canadian broadcasters were impressed with his play
