Two things:

1.) Manning was much younger then than now.

2.) The Bills are a MUCH better defense than the Titans were.

However, when facing Schwartz Manning's TD/game drop than that of his career TD/game

I dunno...unless the dline can get their arms in the air to bat around some of the quick throws, and get pressure on the deeper drops, I'm not liking the matchup this week, or against GB and NE. Our D tends to give the shorter stuff, and most teams will make a mistake over the course of a drive when they are forced to dink and dunk, but Manning, Rodgers, and Brady are the three best in the game right now and not prone to having a really bad game (like Flacco last season). Would love to see it happen in one or two of those contests, though.

strength of the bills is supposed to be pressure and thats the best way to beat any good qb. easier said then done. put up or shut up

also gonna need to win the to battle by two or more, which is pretty much all luck of the draw that day

so bills need a pass rush and lots of luck to win. no problem

The way to beat Manning is the same way to beat Brady. Get in his face, sack him, hit him, frustrate him, and force him to cough up the ball. This is of course not easy, and the refs make it even more impossible, but it is doable. Doubtful but doable. I don't see a win in this game, but if we do win this then I have very high confidence in our ability to win out.

The only way to beat Mannnig and Brady is INTERIOR pressure. Pressure off the edge helps but in the games those guys have had difficulty it was due mainly to DTs impeding their vision and ability to step up.

The second thing you need is really great LB play to cover their short options and make plays on the ball underneath.

The Rams had a good day from Aaron Donald who had a sack. Ogletree had a pick and 10 tackles and Lauranitis had a sack. That`s a strong middle.

I don't know if it has anything to do with Schwartz vs Manning but somehow (just don't ask me why because idk) 5/14 strikes me as an accurate reflection of our chances of beating Peyton and the Broncos.
The season is pretty much on the line so win or lose how the team responds should be a good indication of who they (including their coaches) are.
The D is doubtless a very good one by any measure, but if they succeed in stifling Denver at home they will have gone a ways in one game to proving themselves to be pretty much a premier/elite unit.
