This game shows they can hang, but it's still a long ways off. Glad to see them compete and come out with a win, though. Growing pains.
Also, Detroit has moved into WC2

Makes it even sweeter that Stamkos coughed up the puck.

They are never dull.
Lot of work to do as all have mentioned. I'll still take 2 points in Tampa, since it rarely happens.
Anonymity is an abused privilege, abused most by people who mistake vitriol for wisdom and cynicism for wit
Detroit is idle tonight and they play Tampa tomorrow, and they have a game in hand. We can catch them if we can find a way to beat Florida, but I'm not holding my breath.
Still, I know it's a really low standard, but to even be in the hunt for the last playoff spot this late in the season is making it interesting.

I was shocked they didn't call that a penalty.
Barkov and Bennett out tonight for Florida.
Huge
That makes tonight huge.
Huge game we need this one tonight.
The sieve, aka UPL will play in net. So Florida will score at least 4 goals. Call your bookie.

Tampa Bay Lightning defenceman Erik Cernak will have a hearing for elbowing Buffalo Sabres captain Kyle Okposo in Thursday's game.
The incident occurred late in the third period with the game tied 5-5. As Okposo chipped the puck into the Lightning zone, Cernak stepped up on the Sabres winger with a high hit. There was no penalty on the play but the Sabres bench stood up and appeared to be yelling for one to be called.
Anderson in net.
Sabres to the PP.
