Hope they look somewhere else.

What??
No.. Dorsey had just left Carolina when Tepper bought the Panthers
No connection to Tepper, but he is connected very closely with Dan Morgan who is their Asst GM.
They played together in college and Morgan worked here before moving on to Carolina.
COMING SOON...

That would be a big step for Dorsey after 5 games as an OC.
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?
That said, I love that we have Dorsey's successor in the pipeline already (Joe Brady)
Just speculating here, but if I was an owner of a franchise whose been bad my entire tenure I’d be looking to make a splashy hire. That would either be by bringing in a known big name or getting the one that got away. I have to imagine there are plenty of Panthers fans watching the Bills offense thinking about Dorsey as the one who got away.
Not sure how much interest Dorsey would have in that job, but with the way our offense is scoring he’ll be among the hottest names in the coaching market this off-season.
I'm talking about next season of course. Nothing will happen now unless it is a coach not on a team right now.
Baker Mayfield is really bringing that franchise down. So glad about the single best thing that Beane has ever done: drafting Allen over Mayfield, Darnold or Rosen.
I nominate Bieniemy.
Watch out for Frazier.
Lou Saban: You can get it done, you can get it done. And what’s more, you’ve gotta get it done.
The owner wants Sean Payton.

When was the last time a coach got fired after 5 games?

Buffalo Bills (1962–1968)
After spending two seasons as an assistant coach with the Boston Patriots of the brand new AFL,[7] Collier joined the Buffalo Bills in 1962 as a defensive coach. The team won the 1965 AFL Championship Game over the San Diego Chargers with help from defensive alignments that Collier designed. One idea he came up with was similar to the modern zone blitz; Collier's defense featured defensive line players moving back to cover pass attempts.[3] Collier was promoted to head coach in 1966,[4] after previous coach Lou Saban resigned.[3] The Bills' best season under Collier came in his first year, when they won the Eastern Division with a 9–4–1 record, eventually losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFL Championship Game.[8] After coming within one game of an AFL championship, the team slumped to 4–10 in 1967.[9] After a poor performance by the Bills in a 1968 pre-season game, Collier set up a scrimmage for his team. During the practice session, quarterback Jack Kemp broke his right leg, an injury that forced him to undergo season-ending surgery.[10] The Bills fired Collier after a 48–6 loss to the Oakland Raiders in the second week of the regular season.[11] Sports Illustrated opined that "Collier's fate undoubtedly was decided..." by Kemp's injury.[12
